Hello. It's Nico here, and welcome to Captions Hero.
I want to give you a tiny tour of the platform
while you enjoy yourself taking a look at the editor, because if you're watching
this video, you are watching it from inside of the subtitle editor.
So please take a look around, see that we have transcripts, we also have
a subtitle track, and we also have a bunch of little keyboard shortcuts in the
editor that help you make subtitles in a faster and more productive way.
So take your time, resize things, delete a caption, add a caption, and so
on. When you're done, go back outside of this video, go back to the demo project,
and see that we're going to have two tracks.
There are two tracks. One is the English one that is only generated based on my
voice, and the other one is the Spanish translation of that one,
but that one is for captions.
So if you are translating a video, let's say spoken in English,
you would first generate the English caption, and then you will create the
translated version of that caption in whatever language you want.
And it all happens automatically for you.
So after you do all that and explore the editor around,
I want to give you a tiny tour of the platform so that you can take a look at
all the things that you can do.
All right? So here, I already have a
personal organization.
You have one as well.
And I have a demo video.
I'm going to upload a video, and I'm going to name it Semantic Find, let's say.
And here I choose the language that is spoken in the video,
and we press Upload.
That is going to upload my video.
And while we wait, you can take a look at members as well as the settings.
Okay? And here in members, you can invite your other teammates.
If you have translators in your team or editors in your team, you can just invite
them, write the email in here, and then select a role.
Pretty easy to understand.
And here in organization, you can look at integrations.
We're going to have multiple integrations, so you can
integrate with Cloudflare Stream, YouTube, and so on,
so that when you finish a caption,
it goes automatically uploaded to your Cloudflare Stream and your YouTube and the
rest. We have billing, and we have API keys in case that you want to build
something with code. We also have an API document here that you can give to your
agents, and they are going to be able to build you whatever you want.
You can upload videos from here, download subtitles, create subtitles, order
transcriptions, and so on.
It's pretty cool. Okay.
So now that our video is uploaded, there it is.
We're preparing the video.
And once it's processed, we can create subtitles for the video.
So you could create, let's say, English captions.
So the video has English spoken words, so you can just choose English subtitles.
You could import your SRT or WebVTT if you have one,
or you can generate with AI.
But if you want to just go straight up and translate the video, you can also choose
here Korean, for example, let's say.
The name of the track would be Korean subtitles.
We're going to generate it with AI, and we're going to translate from here, the
video audio. Okay?
So first, and this all happens automatically,
we're going to take the audio of the video, turn it into a
transcription, and then translate the transcription and create a subtitle track
from there. Okay? Here, you can add words that the AI might get wrong.
So in this case, I am talking about Jev and maybe also Python, and I say things
like SDK. So those are things that AI may get wrong.
Okay? And about the glossary, if I want to do some translations, then maybe I will
do SDK, and please just keep it as SDK.
Don't translate it, for example.
And here for the translator, we can put a note like,
use a friendly tone of
voice, let's say.
All right? And then we click Generate Subtitle.
And once that's done, it looks like this.
This is the editor we are currently at, and you can see here that we have the
English subtitles as a reference because we always create the transcription as a
reference. And then here you have the real subtitles.
Okay? And here you can find all the
sort of quality control issues and warnings,
okay, that you can fix if you want.
All right? And yeah, that's it.
This is the editor again. That's how easy it is to upload a video,
create captions, and translate them as well.
And the good thing is that when you are working with teammates,
here you can choose editors, you can choose reviewers, and so the editor will
just translate the captions or review the subtitles.
They will send it to approval.
The reviewer will take a look.
The reviewer will approve, it will reject the changes, it will leave some comments,
and give it back to the editor if that's the case.
And so, yeah, that's it.
You can, of course, look at video settings and change stuff up.
And that's Captions Hero.
And this is how it looks like when you have a bunch of projects.
You can see the different tracks that you're working on and your different
projects, as well as all the people that you're waiting on.
If somebody's waiting on something, if you need to do something, like in my case, I
need to assign an editor to this track, for example, you will see it all here in
your dashboard.
So that's a tiny intro.
Hope you enjoy working with Captions Hero.
Thank you for watching and being here.
And if you need anything, just let me know.
Go to the support email, and I'll be there to help you.
All right? See you in the next one.
Bye-bye.
